WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Appointments can be cancelled via your confirmation email, via text, or by calling our office. When an appointment is booked, that time slot is blocked off on your therapist's schedule. Since she is reserving that space exclusively for you, we ask for 4 hours notice when changing or cancelling appointments. In order to compensate the therapist for her lost time, 100% of the service price will be charged for appointments that are rescheduled or cancelled with less than 4 hours notice. If you pre-paid for your appointment, please call our office at 619-798-4564 to request a refund or account credit. Please note: out of respect for the next guest, late arrivals will receive the remainder of their service timeframe.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes! There is free parking in the garage and on the street.
The garage is not connected to our office: It can be accessed via the alley off Lincoln st. - the alley runs behind our building - between the condos.
LOOK FOR THE:
"LA BOHEME RETAIL PARKING"
SIGN ABOVE THE GARAGE DOOR, IN THE ALLEY.
PLEASE DO NOT ENTER ANY OTHER GARAGE.
After parking, follow the white "La Boheme retail access" signs down the hallway out to 30th st. then turn right.
We are inside "The Suite Spot", just past the dentist.
Do You Offer Any Deals?
We occasionally have last minute deals. Text the word SUBSCRIBE to 619-648-3033 for deals.
What is included in the session?
A session consists of the massage, time for you to dress and undress, and time to communicate with the therapist to make your massage truly customized. Each treatment room is private, has a table and chair for personal belongings, has calming music, and peaceful lighting. Each session includes a hot towel and water.
How much should I tip?
Many clients are unsure if and/or how much they should tip their massage therapist. We recommend you think of your massage therapist as you would a waiter in a restaurant. Our therapists love what they do and your tip may reflect your appreciation for their service.
Will my body be covered during the massage?
You will be modestly covered by a sheet and blanket at all times, to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed, and then covered back up when the therapist moves along. No areas will be exposed without your consent. You should always let your therapist know if you are uncomfortable for any reason during your massage session.
Must I be completely undressed?
You should undress to your desired level of comfort. About half of our clients prefer to be completely undressed, while the other half prefers to keep their underwear on. This is completely up to you. You will undress, and re-dress, alone in the privacy of the massage room and you will be securely covered by a blanket and a sheet during your massage session.
How often should I receive a massage?
For those who use massage as preventative care or to manage daily stress, one massage a month is common. Weekly sessions may be desirable if you are receiving massage for injury relief or to relieve chronic tightness that is interfering with your daily life.
What does a massage therapist’s certification mean?
Certification means that a massage therapist has met and is maintaining the requirements and paid the fee to legally practice massage in California. To obtain certification, a massage therapist must complete a minimum number of training hours at an accredited or accepted school or training center and pass a federal background check. We require all of our therapists to have at least 5 years of certification before hiring!
